“ A very accommodating restaurant the owner was very welcoming we were out on a sailboat and got to the restaurant at 945 pm we didn't think they would allow us to dine when they were about to close. We had the hamburgers they were so tasty with great french fries. They have an extensive food menu, beers, wines and cocktails. The views of the Lake are beautiful from the restaurant. There is dining year round. ”

“ Delicious. I started with a Lake Travis Tea (Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka, peach schnapps and lemonade) -with a water, of course. My main was the Cedar Plank Salmon Salad (Miso glazed cedar plank salmon over mixed greens, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, carrots, goat cheese, mandarin oranges and spiced pecans, tossed in their ginger-lime vinaigrette). The salmon was cooked perfectly -soft, moist, and easily separated. All of the ingredients felt crisp and fresh, and I enjoyed the contrast of the creamy goat cheese. Our waitress, Christina, was friendly and attentive. If you're in the area and looking for good food at a good price in a casual dining setting, I would recommend stopping by the Sundancer Grill. ”

“ I ordered the glazed salmon salad, the Thai lettuce wraps, and the bread pudding. Each of these was so delicious. On top of that, the view of the water at sunset was gorgeous. Despite it being almost 100 degrees outside, the fans helped cool us off. Even better, it wasn't super crowded, despite earning the right to be a crowded restaurant. I'm definitely coming again when I visit Austin. ”

“ I was a bit worried when we arrived and found the restaurant completely empty, but it turned out to be a fantastic dining experience! I ordered the pulled pork and fried avocado, both of which were incredibly flavorful and came with a fresh, crisp side salad. My wife had the blackened fish tacos and absolutely loved them. The waitress was really nice and helpful, making our meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommended! ”

“ My favorite place to go when I’m in Lakeway. I usually have the fried fish which is always great but had to have one of their great blue cheese/cheeseburgers this time. The lake is way down but still a nice view from the Sundancer. Service was excellent. Highly recommend especially in the summer when it’s a little warmer!!! ”

“ A nice spot for a weekend brunch. It is super casual and no frills. A great location overlooking the lake and boat dock. Good for kids with a nice playground area. Inside and outside dining options are available and there is plenty of parking. We had the chicken fried Benedict, the crab omelet (which had lots of crab), and the stuffed French toast. All were very good. Only down side was their internet was down so it was cash only- might want to call ahead to see if it is fixed if you are low on cash. ”

“ This place is close to the lake and has a beautiful view. I had a yummy chicken salad and tasty wings. Everything was fresh and made when I ordered it. The service started a bit slow, but they were really nice. If you're in Lakeway, you should try it! ”
